Full-Time Training - Testimonies

The Training has Given me an Increased Love for God and the Word, Rory Corrigan

My name is Rory, from Long Beach, California. I would like to share a little about my experience in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim.

I grew up as a believer in Christ. However, I would only periodically attend a denomination. Growing up, I didn't know too much about the Bible or the purpose of my Christian life. All I knew was that the Lord Jesus Christ died for mankind. As I got older I began to have a sense within that I needed to meet with other Christians. Through a conversation with one of my co-workers, I found out that my co-worker was a Christian. Because of the sense within from the Lord to meet with other Christians, I asked my co-worker if I could attend a meeting at his church. Shortly after speaking to him, I went to a meeting of the local church in Long Beach. I saw a group of Christians who really loved the Lord Jesus. Following this, I began to meet with the local church in Long Beach on a regular basis. After meeting for a while I found out about the Full-Time Training. The Full-Time Training is a two-year program to learn the truths of the Bible, get trained in having a proper human character, learn to preach the gospel and to shepherd young people. The Lord led me to drop my job to attend the Full-Time Training for two years.

In the Training my love for God's word has truly been increased. This is mainly through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee that has opened up the Word of God to me. I now see that God has a goal to work His life into man for His expression. Not only has my love for God's word increased but also my desire to give up my whole life for the Lord. I really thank the Lord for bringing me to the Full-Time Training. The Full-Time Training is a benefit for anyone who has a desire to have God's word opened up to him and to be trained to be more useful in service to the Lord.
